To understand thanks is more than a rule.

The power that’s held to feel gratitude

Rattles your clock–invigorates your mood.

Your love and virtue will erupt from within

Roll across the land, extinguish the din.

Release the selfish clutch; it’s negative.

Smile from ear to ear and live to give!

Yes it’s up to you, fate is in your grip,

Take the time now, again, don’t let it slip.

Life-lasting fulfillment is at your door.

Rise-up!  Rise-up!  Let your character roar!

Life’s thankfulness starts with you, don’t you see?

You’re bearing the torch for eternity.

And it’s the arts I am so thankful for,

The feelers and thinkers make my heart soar.

Human spirit reaches beyond itself

Breathing, genuine dreams line a bookshelf.

And music woah! It sure touches my spine

Allows me to intertwine with divine.

Reaches across cultural barriers

Rhythm and tone are life carriers.

This season of Thanksgiving I attest

To devote compassion in my conquest!
